Since Generation II, Scizor has been one of the most pop Pokémon in the franchise. Of course, this is in conjunction with Scyther, its offset form evolution. What makes Scizor a better Pokémon, notwithstanding, is its secondary typing that information technology receives upon evolving. The Steel-type is one of the most overpowered in the franchise and Scizor gains information technology along with the original Bug typing.
